DIWA Awards CeBIT ceremonies : LetsGoDigital, member and co-founder of the DIWA Awards organisation, was honoured to be part of the DIWA Awards ceremonies during the CeBIT 2005. As a representative of DIWA, together with Erik Kaper, General Manager of the DIWA Awards we handed over several Awards to a number of key players in the Digital Imaging industry. Olympus received three awards, two DIWA Silver Awards for the Olympus SLR E-300 and the Olympus Mju mini DIGITAl. The third Award is a DIWA Platinum 2004 Award for the Olympus Camedia C-8080 WZ. Konica Minolta received a DIWA Gold Award for the Dynax 7D. And SanDisk has been Awarded for the Extreme III with a DIWA Innovation Award.

Sony Cybershot DSC T7 digital camera preview : During the CeBIT 2005 show, we came across the new Sony Cybershot T7, a digital camera with an exceptionally thin housing. You really notice it when you take the digital camera in your hand for the first time, simply amazing! Beside the ultra-thin appearance it's amazing to see how Sony succeeded in equipping the Sony T7 with a 3x optical zoom! Although the CeBIT 2005 show in fact has become an inferior version of what the CeBIT used to be, still the presentation of new products and innovations remain to stay on a high level. It's a welcoming surprise that Sony introduced a digital camera like the Sony Cybershot T7 just before the CeBIT kicked off.
